No fingerprints, no face recognition
Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) Board decision 2026/921 of 29 April 2026, biometric data such as fingerprints or facial images may not be processed solely to track working hours, even with the employee’s explicit consent. Personelix never collects biometric data: identity is ensured by the QR code, the GPS location and the employee’s own phone.
